Travertine Texture. Base price

Smooth surface with small fissures resembling travertine or cut limestone.

 

 

Precast Concrete (Old World, Travertine, Cantera, Travertine Filled, Coral, Smooth, Fossil, Sand Washed) Textures

Precast concrete or GFRC available in 12 textures and 12 standard colors.  is usually used in more contemporary or rustic themed homes using the old world, travertine, or others of our many textures resembling the stone of the Mediterranean, Tuscany and even the Cantera or Adoquin stone of old Mexico.  Our Precast concrete or GFRC is a beautiful hand made product, not massed produced as most other companies do.

Cast Stone (Dry-Cast or Fino) Texture

Suited to high end European or Eastern style estate homes.
Used by man since the Egyptian pyramids were constructed, is hand packed into molds under tremendous pressure, just as in nature when limestone is made from the extreme pressure on sand, lime and slurry over thousands of years. This technique of compacting sand, crushed limestone and colored pigment with a small amount of water ensures a product which closely resembles limestone. Crisp edges, uniform in color and texture because very little water is used in it's production. It is used where limestone or sandstone is desired but is cost prohibitive. The surface of stone shows the aggregate naturally at its surface, simulating limestone or sandstone. Pleasing, high quality texture, our favorite. Larger parts and columns can also be made in lightweight GFRC.
Cost's more than our other product because of the Materials used and the special molds needed.

bulletScagliola texture, made in precast concrete or GFRC product, rich natural stone texture resembling cut marble.
bulletName is derived from the Italian word "scaglia" meaning "chips of stone".
bulletAncient secret formula dating from the 15th century, revived and improved upon by Italian monks in the 17th century, and which had all but disappeared by the 19th century.

bulletCoral texture, made in precast concrete or GFRC product, rich natural stone texture resembling cut coral or keystone.
bulletCoral is a limestone that has been formed for thousands of years in marine regions, we simulate the texture with silicone rubber molds taken from coral texture..
The stone is almost pure white on extraction and has natural antiquing which we simulate with concrete stains..
bulletNatural Coral is becoming increasingly rare, and was very popular until a few years ago, but has now become too expensive for most projects.

bulletFino or dry cast texture resembles expensive cut limestone at 25% of the cost.
bulletFino texture has sharp edges and rich texture, more uniform in color and texture than other cast products.
bulletCan also be made in lightweight GFRC.
bulletMade from limestone sand, white cement and integrated pigment.
bulletDry packed into molds under extreme pressure.
bulletThe difference between high end cast stone and precast concrete is easily seen, and even the novice can appreciate the high quality limestone like finish on a cast stone product. Made with old time European  techniques and using crushed limestone in our mix which gives our product a very special  texture and quality, unseen in normal precast products.

Many of our projects are in Santa Barbara including Santa Barbara sandstone look-alike columns,Haddonstone,California precast,Adriatic precast,APS precast,napa stone, Studio Cast,CDI,ventura cast stone Palm Springs columns, Beverly Hills precast columns, Malibu columns and Orange County, California columns.
Cast stone and precast concrete installation projects are also regularly undertaken in Palm Springs, Orange County, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica including precast concrete columns,  in Malibu, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. 
Each piece is carefully hand laid into special reinforced molds and hand finished after mold removal
Many of our recent projects are cast stone in Ventura County and precast columns in the City of Santa Monica, and precast columns in Beverly Hills California.
Our products consist of concrete Santa Barbara columns, architectural precast Santa Barbara and Santa Barbara stone balusters, sandstone designs and our own concrete design window/door trim, Los Angeles, California simulated stone columns, concrete balustrade, our own concrete design precast balusters. Also cast stone window & door trim, our own sandstone design and concrete pool coping, precast wall caps or Haddonstone,California precast,Adriatic precast,APS precast,napa stone, Studio Cast,CDI,ventura cast stone concrete wall caps in the Malibu area.
We have many precast columns and sandstone designs of many kinds installed in the Los Angeles area, including precast in Malibu, Beverly Hills precast columns and  Los Angeles precast columns.
We use a fineline with precast when making Santa Barbara precast and Santa Barbara sandstone columns including Beverly Hills precast.
